Begin your journey to self-publishing your first book in this 3-part workshop series with local self-published author and artist River Kai. Each workshop covers a unique aspect of the resources, knowledge, and how-to needed to publish an industry-standard book that allows your writing to shine. From starting your own publishing house to distributing your finalized book to global bookstores, this series includes a guided worksheet packet to help you make tangible progress in your self-publishing journey during each 3-hour session.
While the full workshop series provides a comprehensive review of resources and knowledge needed to self-publish your first book, each workshop is unique and can be taken independently.
Don’t have any completed works to publish in the near future? No worries! The information covered will be important to implement long before the final step of self-publishing a completed book.

Illustrated Book Covers
From illustrations to title typography, I designed each of my published book covers. Since book covers are a reader's first impression, I'd love to help your cover stand out amongst everything on the shelf!
While I specialize in adult romance and horror/dystopian covers, I'm a true book cover nerd; I love researching book covers for all genres and use my bookstore visits to study current art trends. In particular, I understand the necessary pieces to LGBTQ+, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and YA book covers.
